“TechieNest” presents an autonomous robotics workshop which would deal with virtualization of senses and their calibration to provide a sense of environment to the home/office automation. Using virtualization through different virtual position’s sense by camera would be calibrated and correspondingly home/office appliances will be controlled according to the defined virtual area from the User using MATLAB.

Basic practical exposure to interfacing peripherals

  • Relay Interfacing.

Practical: Interfacing relay with microcontroller.
Concept of Voltage Switching in AC appliances
Practical: Controlling AC devices with microcontroller.
Communication Model

  • Introduction to Serial Communication.
  • Serial Communication through micro controller.
Project- PC control industrial automation.

Image Processing Using MATLAB

  • Introduction to MATLAB.
  • Introduction to Image Processing toolbox.
  • Introduction to image/vision/eye.
  • Image processing through MATLAB.
  • Different color formats and their conversions.
  • Calculation of Digital Pixels.

Video Processing

  • Interfacing cameras (one and more) in MATLAB.
Project: Anti-theft system using image processing.
  • Identifying area of interest (color) in the image.
  • Calculation of color pixels in the image.
Project: Wearable colored gesture controlled P.C applications.
Project: Wearable colored gesture controlled web browsing.
