Embedded System & Design is a workshop which focuses on robotic sensing. It would deal with sensors and their calibration to provide a sense of environment to the Robot. Motive of the workshop is to make students familiar with multiple sensors which they can interface with robot and realize various applications.

Practical: Character, string and number display on LCD.
Project: Digital clock on LCD

Relay Interfacing

  • Introduction to relay.
  • Types of relay and its working.
  • Introduction to ULN2803 IC.
  • Interfacing between controller and ULN2803.
Project: Development of an automation system.

IR Sensor

  • Working principle and concept
  • Interfacing of IR with Controller

Introduction to ADC

  • Accessing internal ADC of microcontroller.
  • Programming for analog to digital converter.

Introduction to LDR (Light Sensor) sensor

  • Introduction of LM 358 IC.
